Culture Jam and Warner Bros. Records are presenting the first ever Twitter listening party This Monday August 31 for The Used.  For those of you who may not know what a listening party is, it is a loosely directed but passionately devised gathering held purely for the love and discovery of music. New music. Old music.  And now listening parties have made it to twitter thanks to companies like Culture Jam.

Culture Jam is introducing a whole new way for Musicians to market their music and get real-time response, as well as give fans new ways to participate with their favorite musicians.  The way they are doing it for The Used is they are having fans Tweet-for-Ticket.  A somewhat of a "Digital Currency" is what they like to call it.  Once the tweet has been sent and they gain admission to the listening party, fans can stream the entire album and see other fans participating in the listening party.  They also get exclusive access to buy the album first through itunes.
