Are you Fitbit?
No. Not enough. Not nearly enough. And I have no idea. These are my answers to Fitbit's questions which they pose on their website (reprinted below). The tiny Fitbit Tracker device (which can be clipped to your jeans or cuff of your shirt), can answer the questions automatically, as it tracks one's fitness and sleep. While the product is to be available in limited quantities in January, I am going to talk w/CEO James Park Thursday, October 30th at 11am PST. Join us live on TalkShoe w/your own questions.

How Fitbit are you?
Last week, I was able speak with Fitbit CEO James Park on everything from how the idea from the company got started (James was an early Wii Sports adopter) to privacy, 2.4Ghz wireless radio, accelerometer chips and bay stations. Finally, James mentioned how Fitness Trainers are interested in the API and James gives good advice on weathering the economic storm. The interview is a little over 10 minutes long and is a good listen, even if you know nothing about fitness. James promised a follow-up in Q1 after Fitbit launches. In the meantime, we'll just have to start counting calories right after Thanksgiving... |
