In a new collaboration with Samsung Mobile, blip.tv has created a new Android application for consumers who buy the new Samsung Galaxy S. The free app, exclusive to Samsung Galaxy S owners (for now), will feature top series hosted by blip.tv. Show categories on the app include featured episodes, drama, comedy, music, documentary, tech, music and app reviews. If you are a fan of independent web production then this is a happy day for you. Or if you are a web video producer and have never heard of Blip.tv definitely check them out. One of the many great things that Blip.tv does for its web series producers is split all advertising revenue 50/50. Now hows that for generous, and you don't need to sell your own ads. Blip.tv does all the work for you and you just need to worry about driving views to your video. Blip.tv hosts several shows produced with Internet users in mind. The new Android app highlights some of the most popular series and makes others available according to category. Blip.tv will eventually launch for other devices (Sign-up here to be notified), but Galaxy S users can access the app now by visiting blip.tv/app Below is an unboxing video we did of the Galaxy S on Blip.tv:
