Get Your Props With Propadoo
Written By: Efren Toscano Section: Interviews Category: Startup 2009-11-14 22:07:54 Getting props when props are due can be a difficult task in the realm of social media. In the world of real time that we all currently live in being able to get good solid timely feedback is almost crucial. No body really cares what someone said about your company two years ago or even six months ago for that matter. Potential customers want to know what other previous customers have said about you 2 days ago. And now with the help of Propadoo you can even see what someone has said about your company 2 minutes ago. Propadoo is a real-time testimonial and referral system that automatically updates the widget they provide to you that can be placed on your website. They give you simple tools such as linked images to post on your site, email signatures, or even have people fill out an onsite prop form (available with paid subscription) to get the props you are looking for. Below is just a few examples: My favorite is the Little penguin guy :) Propadoo is also developing a new feature called "Prop Finder" which will scour the social web and find all the positive recognition and deliver them to your props widget. They are currently in open beta and are looking for people to help them improve their product. This is something I can see getting pretty big in service provider industries. No longer needing to go out and ask people to give you a testimonial (which can be a pain in itself), and having it all come in to one spot all on auto-pilot. That is just what I would be looking for in a system like this. We interviewed Jim Mueller CEO and Founder of Propadoo at BlogWorld Expo 09. Watch and find out what onion rings and lolly pops can do for you ;)
